What is Hyper Dash?
Hyper Dash is a fast paced online multiplayer VR shooter. The game combines different styles of movement like smooth locomotion, teleporting/dashing and rail grinding to create intense battles across different game modes.
On what platform(s) is Hyper Dash available?
Hyper Dash is currently available for Oculus Quest and PC VR (Oculus Rift, Steam, Viveport).
What are the minimum requirements for the game (PC VR version)?
For PC VR users we recommend the following:

With how many people can I play Hyper Dash?
Hyper Dash currently supports up to 10 players per game server.
Does Hyper Dash support crossplay?
Yes, no matter what device or platform you play Hyper Dash on, you play on the same servers.
Can I play Hyper Dash offline?
Although Hyper Dash is mostly meant to be played online, we do support a single-player training mode against AI opponents that can be accessed offline.
What are the controls?
Triggers – Shoot. (Some weapons have a secondary fire mode if you hold down on the trigger)
Grip – Reload. (Guns will auto reload when they’re empty)
A or X – Dash/Teleport. (You can Dash on rails to start grinding on them)
Left Joystick – Move/Walk.
Right Joystick – Snap turn.
Left Menu button – Open menu in-game.
You can rebind your buttons in the controls menu.
You can customize your gun angle, snap rotation and more in options menu.
What are the available game modes in Hyper Dash?
Currently Hyper Dash supports the following game modes:
Payload
Payload features two teams. The blue team is the attacking team, while the red team is defending. The attacking team’s aim is to push the payload to the defending team’s base, while the defending team must attempt to prevent this.
Domination
Domination features two teams. Both teams need to capture 3 control points by pushing the control point buttons. First team to capture all control points simultaneously wins the round. First team to win 3 rounds wins the match.
Control Point
Control Point features two teams. Both teams need to capture a central control point on the map by pushing the button. For each second a team controls the point they get rewarded 1 point. First team to reach 300 points wins the match.
Deathmatch
All players play individually against each other. Each kill scores you a point. First player to reach a score of 50 points wins the game.
Mutators
A random map and 1-3 mutators will be selected that will change some of the gameplay elements.
What is a mutator (Match)?
In a Mutator Match a random map is chosen with 1 to 3 of the following mutators:
- Heal On Kill – Health is restores on kill.
- Max Dash – You spawn with 5 dashes instead of 3.
- Immediate Respawn – Almost instant player respawn.
- Unlimited Sprint – Sprint doesn’t run out.
- Immediate Pickups – Almost instant pickups respawns.
- Akimbo – Guns pickups are applied to both hands on pickup. (excluding shield)
- Headshot Only – Damage is only dealt through head shots.
- Insta Gib – Laser Guns that are one hit kill.
- Half Damage -Takes double the amount of bullets to kill someone.
- Scavenger – Spawn without pistols.
- Slowmo sprint – Time slows down while sprinting. Training only!
Are there any stats, player progression or leveling mechanic(s) available?
Yes, Players gain experience points by playing matches and progress through levels. The maximum level is currently capped to lvl 100. Your can view your player statistics in-game by choosing the “profile” option under the main menu, where you have an overview of your “all time” and “monthly” stats.
Can I customize my character?
Yes, currently Hyper Dash supports customization of your weapon skins and helmet models. New skins and models can be unlocked by gaining experience and unlocking new levels.
What type of weapons are there available in Hyper Dash?
Hyper Dash currently supports 8 different weapon types: Pistol, Uzi, Rocket Launcher, Shotgun, Burst Rifle, Sniper, Shock Pistol and Shield. All weapons are single-handed weapons and allow for a wide range of combinations. Some weapons also have secondary functions that allow you to charge a shot or guide a rocket to its destination.
